D DAY
my brother just came into my room and started rambling about things. this is what he said,
"do you know that mommy and daddy are very good parents? their advice was for you to get baptised only when you're 21. you chose to get baptised at 17, and still they're giving you their full support. so learn to cherish them."
okay, i'm touched.
i've always seen water baptism as a personal decision i'd have to make in my christian walk. it has never been one that i see having to be shared with my parents. after all, it concerns my committment and dedication to what i proclaim my 'religion'. no doubt, parents affect my decision (but to a certain extent), because i seek their blessing in baptism.
unfortunately, it serves also a darn good excuse to escape baptism. whatever, all hail the escapist.
