Little Children with Balloons

here's a picture of a cute little girl. it was shot last sunday at fcbc's children's day carnival. she was playfully shy. she hid behind her dad when she caught me taking pictures of her.

her dad said, "she found you. now you gotta pretend to walk away and come back 5 mins later."

but anyway have you ever wondered, why do children seem to have a natural attachment to balloons? could it be that balloons resemble placentas, and it makes them feel safe?
